Beautiful book perfectly suitable from a very young age (I read it to my son who is 2,5 yo) and the paper quality is very good so a kid can play with it without risking damaging it. Loved the questions to make the reading more interactive and the kids participate. Strong and beautiful values around difference and inclusiveness while very accessible to every kid, even the younger, as you follow the story of a whale in the ocean (and we all know how much kids love animals and fishes). I’ll offer it to other friends with kids.

Very cute little tale about a lonely whale (yep I’ve caught the rhyming bug from it ^^) who seeks to find his voice and belonging with the aid of a magical little sea shell!
Our little one couldn’t stop reaching for Kai the whale in excitement when we read it to her! The illustrations in the book are vibrant and beautifully detailed, with captivating colors! There are also some bonus children’s activities on certain pages.
Will be a regular bedtime choice for us ! Highly recommended!

The best children’s book i have read! What a talented author who not only wrote the book but did all the art to. Love the prompts on each page to keep children engaged (count how many fish etc). I was lucky enough to hear a live book reading by the author and loved the messaging behind the story. Would highly recommend to buy this book and any future books

Love this sweet story about a whale (Kai) who feels different and who struggles to find his voice. Love the valuable lessons woven throughout this story including perseverance, confidence, strength in the face of adversity, and never giving up. I also love how the author made the book interactive with counting exercises sprinkled throughout the story. I look forward to gifting this to my 6-year-old this Christmas.
